About the Album
"Darkest Knight" is Velvet Aduk's debut full-length English album, featuring fourteen songs that showcase a new dimension of her storytelling and songwriting. Exploring the universal theme of heartbreak, the album seeks to bring peace, healing, and inspiration to anyone facing similar challenges, bringing a sense of strength through music and its lyrics. DARKEST KNIGHT
After nearly 17 years in the music industry, Velvet Aduk decided to release an English album. For this 36-year-old mother of four, the saying "it's never too late to start" never gets old. Born and raised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, the new single Darkest Knight provides Velvet's fans with a new listening experience. This track is catchy and enjoyable to listen to because of the classic pop and funk sounds.
Darkest Knight will also be the title of the album, for your information. The album is scheduled to be released in November 2023. 'What Are You Doing With Someone Else's Husband? and If I'm Not Good Enough For You', according to Velvet, have been available since last July and August respectively. Velvet's only wish for this album is that listeners will enjoy the lyrical journey and the music that she produced.
"I'm having fun making this album. I learnt a lot along the way, and I hope you'll appreciate it as much as I did." said Velvet Aduk.

"War Cry" is a song which celebrates the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Malaysian Borneo - Sabah and Sarawak.
Performed and written by Alena Murang, Marsha Milan, and Velvet Aduk, the goal with this project is to encourage Malaysians to take pride in their heritage and to promote national unity through music and visual storytelling.
This powerful and uplifting song is a reminder of the importance of taking pride in our heritage. The lyrics of the song are inspiring, and the music video is visually stunning.
